Growing together: The Smart Energy Cluster gains momentum
COSMIC is all for driving real world energy improvements with AI and big data and we know that doesn’t happen in a vacuum. That’s why COSMIC is excited to be part of the Smart Energy Cluster, a lively mix of EU projects working together to turn big ideas for energy into on-the-ground solutions.
The Smart Energy Cluster brings together dozens of projects that link research, policy and market innovations to give energy solutions more reach and impact. With 35 active projects and 23 concluded ones, the community is gaining momentum and looking to innovate on sustainable energy solutions for everyday use. At the 4th Smart Energy Cluster Collaboration Workshop on 3 February, Jessica Urrutia from INETUM gave an overview to the cluster of what COSMIC has been up to, from our approach to the results we are aiming for and the societal benefits these results unlock. For example, AI tools can help cut household energy bills, tackle energy poverty and make energy systems more resilient, presenting benefits and gains that matter to people.
