COSMIC Open Call 2 is now open!
Applications are now open for the COSMIC 2nd Open Call, supporting SMEs and start-ups that use AI and data to improve how energy is managed, saved, and optimised.
COSMIC is looking for practical solutions that can help improve energy efficiency, support smarter decisions, reduce environmental impact, and bring new digital energy services closer to the market.
Selected beneficiaries may receive up to €150,000 per FSTP beneficiary and take part in a 10-month technical and business mentoring programme.
Funding conditions: non-profit SMEs and start-ups may receive up to 100% of eligible costs, while other SMEs and start-ups may receive up to 70%.
Applicants can respond to one of 16 challenges, available in the Technical Guidelines. Up to 13 projects will be selected.
The call is open to individual SMEs, including start-ups, from EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
Application period: 20 May 2026, 08:00 – 20 July 2026, 17:00 Brussels Time.
